I have had 5 star experiences with Tatiana purchasing SWAN headjoints . No more neck/ shoulder pain or discomfort since I have been using the Flute Lab SWAN headjoints (2019 and now 2020 models) which fit easily into my Trevor James, Amadeus and Haynes Q2 C flutes. Very easy to have trials on these and another brand of vertical and swan head joints to make the best choice. The headjoints sound wonderful and make practice and teaching hours a joy!
We had a really nice visit and they were very friendly. We bought our first flute instead of renting and are happy with the decision. Nice selection.

Best in the business to buy from, maintain, and repair your flute. I have done all three with them and each time I was consulted through everything with pressure. Answered every question I had in depth. There is no other flute store.
As a flute pleyer and teacher, I have been going to Robert for over 20 years. I have sent my students, friends and daughter there and we have always had the best service. He is not after the one time quick sale but the long term returning friend.
My daughter is a professional and will not take her flute anywhere else. Found out about Roberrt 25 years ago and only trust him. We have travel 3 hours through snow just to have him work on her flute. She lives out of the country and waits till she gets home. Always accomdating to her time.

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Flute Specialists! I played the flute in high school and college, and took private lessons as well as had amazing repairs and tune ups for my flute and piccolo from 2002-2006. If you are considering lessons for yourself or for your child, you simply need to go to Flute Specialists. My parents drove me all the way from Chesterfield, 45 minutes one way, because no one else compares. All of their instructors are beyond talented, and will completely transform your skills as a musician. In high school I was always first chair and earned 1st division ratings at Solo and Ensemble with solos that I prepared with my instructor, so I decided to join the campus band just for fun when I went to Michigan State since it is catered to students who are not music majors but want to enjoy music as a hobby. When auditioning for chairs for a particularly fussy director, he stared at me in disbelief and asked me why I wasn't a music major since my skills were on par with students who had passed the rigorous audition process to be admitted into the School of Music. I was completely shocked. For students who compete in Solo and Ensemble or are considering a career in music, taking lessons from the amazing staff at Flute Specialists is a must in order to have the skills necessary for such a competitive field.
