Telemann for Two: Volume II

This publication is Volume II of II, and includes Fantasias 7-12; Volume I (Fantasias 1-6) is available separately. What could be more delightful than playing Telemann’s duets, or Telemann’s Fantasias? Sharon Sparrow and Jeffery Zook have created a remarkable complete set of duet adaptations of the 12 Fantasias, so authentic that they sound as if they could have been composed as two-part inventions by Telemann himself. In these duets, Telemann’s original works are shared between players, mixed with counterpoint to enhance the once-solo works.
