Titanium Phonic Crown by Guo

The Guo Titanium Phonic flute crown is the latest innovation from Geoffrey Guo. This unique crown is hollowed out on the inside into a number of chambers, cut in a subtle spiral pattern. The theory is that this gives the resonating chamber a range of lengths, rather than a fixed length; and that this “helps” each note find its natural wavelength. The tuning of the partials within each note are then much more accurate, meaning each note is more in tune, more responsive and more resonant.
